Shivaji Das & Yolanda Yu

Shivaji Das and Yolanda Yu are two wanderers, writers and travel and documentary photographers from Singapore. Their photographs have been exhibited in places such as The Darkroom Gallery, Vermont (USA), Kuala Lumpur International Photo Festival, The Arts House (Singapore) and The National Library (Singapore).

 

Shivaji Das was born and brought up in the north-eastern province of Assam in India. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, subsequent to which he completed his post-graduation from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta. Shivaji is the author of ‘Journeys with the caterpillar: Travelling through the islands of Flores and Sumba, Indonesia’. He has contributed to several magazines and newspapers such as TIME, Asian Geographic, Venture Mag. The Jakarta Post and GoNOMAD.   

 

Yolanda Yu was born and brought up in Liaoning province of China. She is the co-author of 人生历程从此不一样 (The journey of life is different since then). She graduated from the National University of Singapore and is currently pursuing an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
